28 week checkup!

Last week we had our 28 week check up and everything looks good. I had the joy of drinking a delicious glucose drink then having my blood drawn and to wrap the appt up I received my Rhogam shot in my hip. The bad part was the shot didnt hurt that bad until Saturday and Sunday morning, but now its better. Now we start going to the dr every 2 weeks so we have our next appt next Wednesday for 30 weeks then at 32 weeks we get to pick the date of the csection and when we want baby to arrive! Thats about all new here, I have been feeling pretty good, just tired all the time it seems. Hope things are well with everyone!

I also posted a belly picture from tonight its not a great picture, but it will work for now :)

24 weeks!

Sorry its been awhile since we updated. We had our appt for baby last Monday with the specialist to check on how his kidneys were doing and thankfully the dr. said they look great no problems at all which was wonderful to hear! We got to spend about 20-30 minutes watching the ultrasound because she had to check measurements on him from head to toe, he was kicking so much during the ultrasound he would knock the ultrasound monitor off my belly it was so cute and then at the end he had the hiccups so we got to sit there and watch him with those which was even cuter! But he looks great overall as well they said I am actually measuring a week ahead so far so we will see. Other then that not much else new here, I feel baby move all of the time and Andy gets to feel him alot also. I posted an updated picture as well from today when I got home so you can see how big the belly is getting so far, its so funny to look back at my 5 week picture compared to now. Well, hope all is well with everyone!

Feeling Baby Move

Just a quick little update. Baby boy has been moving like crazy, I have been able to feel him move for a while now, but Andy got to feel him kick for the first time last week and now everyday he has gotten to experience it. The past few days its like baby is already in a routine. He kicks/punches like crazy for a few minutes then he goes to sleep for a couple of hours then he kicks and punches a little more and I LOVE every minute of it. Tomorrow we go to the specialist to have the ultrasound done to check on babys kidneys again so I will update on that tomorrow night and try to put some up to date belly pics up too. Hope all is well with everyone!

Boy or Girl???

First, this past weekend was The Players Tournament here and Andy worked alot of crazy hours, but the tournament went really well. His parents and mine came for the weekend and we all had a great time together! Next, the wait is finally over. We had our Dr.'s visit today to check on baby and find out if its a boy or girl. The appt went well, they said baby is measuring good everywhere and looks great! There is a little bit of urine in the kidneys, but they aren't too concerned about it right now so we are just going to watch and see how they do. Also, as you can see from the pics we posted we are having a BOY!!!!!!! YAY!!!Which I dont think I can put enough exclamation marks to show how excited Andy is about having a boy :) I also posted a belly pic, I am 18 weeks and 2 days today. We go back in 2 weeks for our next Dr.'s appt we only saw the ultrasound tech today. Well, hope yall enjoy the pics as much as we do. We will keep you posted as much as possible!

Lots to Catch Up On....

Ok it has been awhile since we have updated this. I'm sure most of you understand between work and the wonderful morning sickness I don't feel like blogging very often, but alot has happened since the last post. I am 15 weeks and 4 days today and we had our last appt on April 1st. Everything went well at the appt. We got to hear baby's heartbeat and it went from 153 all the way up to 165. It was so much fun to not only hear the heartbeat, but you could hear baby kicking the doppler at the same time. What an amazing sound! The 10th we celebrated my birthday and the 13th we celebrated 3 years of marriage, we had my sister, greg, the kids, and mom and dad herr for the weekend which was really nice. Now we are counting down for Andy's mom and dad to get here for The Players tournament weekend! The past week I have been battling a cold which they say is normal and I started feeling much better after some medicine. Which brings us to today, I haven't been feeling well the past couple of days just alot of pressure in my stomach and not myself at all. So my dr. called me back after hours and was so nice they waited in the office and let me come in to see them to save us an ER visit. Turns out now I have a UTI ( just when you get over one thing its something else) but as long as baby is ok I will live with the sickness. So they decided to do an ultrasound to make sure baby was ok and it is. It was just kicking like crazy in there. She did measurements of the body and head and said everything looks normal and good and the heartbeat sounds great at 156.The pictures I posted are from our April 1st visit. We go back Wednesday for our next check up. Thats all for now, I will try to get better about keeping this up to date. Hope everything is well with everyone!

Goodbye Peanuts...

Ok.. So Sunday morning I wake up and make half a peanut butter sandwich till everyone is up and ready to make breakfast (mom and dad came to visit for the weekend) well all morning I couldn't stop itching. That afternoon we went to our friends Jill and Clays house to grill out and I started having this itching spell again. So we go home and I had been craving boiled peanuts, so I make myself a bowl and watch the movie "The Holiday", well Andy is somewhere in the house doing laundry (he really was :) ) so I eat a peanut then my lip starts itching, so what do I do I eat another one, then my lip itches again so this goes on for almost the whole bowl, when I finally decided something didn't seem right I went into Andy and said "Babe, I think my lip is swollen." His eyes got real big and said go sit down I am going to call my mom. Well Andy doesnt get startled by much so I knew something wasn't right. So after getting in touch with my dr. I took a dose of Benadryl (which of course knocked me out for the night) Andy was such a good husband, he set the alarm every couple of hours to check to make sure I was still breathing ok in my sleep and that my tongue wasn't swelling up. Well, we wake up the next morning and no better. So, after an ER visit and a F/U visit with my Dr. today they concluded I have developed a peanut allergy, so for the rest of the pregnancy I can't eat any peanuts or anything that has peanuts in it. Talk about a lifestyle and diet change. The one time I am supposed to be able to eat whatever is in sight and not worry about weight gain and I can't do it, haha Well of course I don't really care whatever is good for baby. Also at my appt today to check on baby I got to hear the heartbeat, it was so cool to hear. Andy wasn't able to make the appt, but we go back next Wednesday so he will get to hear it then, we both can't wait till then. Thats all for now, hope everyone is well. Thinking of you all!

The Start of Belly Pics

Ok, here are some pics my mom took with her phone so the 2nd one is a little blurry. The first one is me at 5 weeks, the second one is me at 10 weeks. You can definitely see a difference, but in my defense the second pic was just after I ate and even with pooch I haven't put on any weight YET, hehe. Hope you enjoy!
